INCREASING THE WORKING HOURS OF YOUR SOLAR BATTERIES

This article is basically for Renewable Energy users and also for intending users. The Renewable Energy, particularly Solar Energy, is a free and clean energy which have grown in market value over the years. 

One of equipment that engineers/ensures the effectiveness of the Renewable Energy is it storage capacity or popularly known as the batteries. 

These batteries are of severally types, but the most widely used are the Deep-cycle batteries or sealed-lead acid batteries. 

HOW DO WE INCREASE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THESE BATTERIES?

1. One of the best and most popular means one can effectively improve or increase batteries workability is through "Effective Charging". The batteries need to be thoroughly charged till full capacity for it to work as it should or even better. When you keep half-charging solar batteries, you're kill the potency of the battery. So, therefore, make sure your batteries are charged to full capacity at least a few times of charging (That's why the panels are there in the first place or Utility or least-preferably, the generator.)

2. Load Reduction: This is one of the most important way of making your batteries work effectively. The batteries are like stores, they release what is being stored in them (i.e. charges). When your Energy Demand is not properly checked it tends to use more than it should therefore reducing your battery working time. For instance, when you consume half your load, your increase 2 times the workability of your battery or storage system. Therefore, ensure your home is first properly energy efficient and make sure you  embrace the culture of energy conservation as well.

3. Ensure the batteries are stored in a place where the temperature is moderate. When the batteries are stored in a place where the temperature is high, it might lead to explosion due to internal chemical reactions due to over excitements of the electrons.

4. Lastly, ensure that the batteries are kept some distant from a cemented/concrete surface. Hence, your battery starts draining for no reason...

5. Avoid charging with a generator.

If all the aforementioned points are properly put in place, your storage system can work effectively for a minimum of five (5) years.
